A Day to See Employees at Work, Leading to Smiles and Pride Among Families

On July 24, we held “GMB Family Day” for our employees and their families.

This factory tour event, where employees invite their families and friends to the company, was our first such initiative in several years.

We organized the event with the hope that family members—who support our employees on a daily basis—would have the opportunity to see firsthand our manufacturing facilities, the workplace atmosphere, and what it’s like to work here. Approximately 70 people participated this time.

Through job introduction, factory and office tours, and hands-on experience booths run by the Quality Assurance Department, participants were able to see the manufacturing facilities and observe employees at work—a view not usually available to the public.

We observed children listening intently with great curiosity and parents and children enjoying conversations together during the tour, and the venue was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere from start to finish.

Participants shared comments such as, “I’ve always wanted to introduce my job to my family, so I’m happy that my dream has come true.”

By allowing family members to learn about their jobs and the workplace, this event also provided employees with an opportunity to take a fresh look at their daily work and feel the joy of working while seeing their families’ smiles.

Through this event, we not only deepened our families’ understanding of our manufacturing processes and workplace but also created a day where employees and their families could feel a closer connection to the company.

GMB will continue to cherish our gratitude toward the families who support our employees and carry out corporate activities that foster connections between people.

Furthermore, by building upon each of these initiatives, we aim to remain a company where employees take pride in their work and are cherished by both their families and the local community.
