GMB hosted a factory tour for 67 fifth-grade students from nearby Kawanishi Town Kawanishi Elementary School at its Nara Plant on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. 

Our Nara Plant and Kawanishi Elementary School have maintained a relationship for some time, walking together as members of the local community. This factory tour is part of a curriculum aimed at deepening students’ understanding of companies and industries within their school district, and the Nara Plant has been hosting such tours for over 10 years. 

During the tour, employees from our Production Division led the group, explaining and showing the manufacturing process of our products. During the Q&A session, the children asked many questions, such as “What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?” and “Why did you choose this job?” 

The children shared impressions like, “It was amazing to see things being made one after another!” and “I was surprised to see so many car parts stored here!” Participating employees also commented, “The children gave us energy,” and “Explaining things to the children was a great opportunity to feel proud of our work.” 

Moving forward, our company will continue to value opportunities to contribute to the development of our community and society through various social contribution activities, working together with local residents.
