In May 2025, GMB donated original benches designed by our company to the “Oval Park Kawanishi” inline speed skating venue, established in Kawanishi Town, Nara Prefecture—the local community of our Nara Factory. 

Building on this initiative, on December 5, 2025, Japanese national inline speed skating athletes Teppei Kawaguchi and Ure Takahagi, who compete in world championships based at Oval Park Kawanishi, paid a courtesy visit to the Nara Factory and exchanged views with President Matsuoka. Mayor Ozawa of Kawanishi Town also attended. 

During the exchange, proposals were made, such as, “Bearings are used in inline skate boots; could a collaboration with GMB lead to new initiatives?” President Matsuoka responded positively, stating, “We would definitely like to take on that challenge,” leading to a forward-looking and lively discussion. 

GMB will continue its contribution activities to the local community in various forms, including supporting regional sports, while leveraging its technological capabilities as a manufacturing company.
